One thing I’ve incorporated since day 1 was eating oats every single morning. I’ve been making these SUPER GREEN MORINGA OATS for breakfast. It’s got serious superpower from oats, flax, moringa, coconut oil, and plant protein — all powerhouses for nutritious breast milk. Now, the taste may not be for everyone. I really like it, but it does taste slightly grassy from the moringa. You can add more honey or mix it more almond butter to it, too.
- In a small pot, bring almond milk and salt to a boil.
- Once boiling, turn down the heat and whisk in moringa, flax, chia, plant protein, and coconut oil (adding this first helps to mix it thoroughly instead of clumping).
- Then stir in oats and cook until you achieve your desired thickness.
- Turn off heat and stir in honey. Top with berries, almond butter, shredded coconut, or whatever else you like!
